Juventus PIRLO Home White/Black Jersey 2013/14

On the whole 2013 has been a good year for Juventus (Juventus Jersey). The club won a Scudetto, reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League in their first campaign there since 2009, and made a number of smart moves during the summer mercato.

Adverse events were two eliminations - the first in the Champions League 2013-2014, then Juve eliminated from the Coppa Italia in 2013 by Lazio, in February. Aside from that, it was smooth sailing for Juve, who easily rolled to their second consecutive Scudetto last season and are facing a little more strength this season for their third.

That said, let's get this started.

Focus Shifts

While 3-5-2 bias Antonio Conte remained as basic training for Juventus(Soccer Jerseys), a few tactical changes took place. To begin with, in the spring Conte flirted with a 3-5-1-1, but it seemed that Claudio Marchisio cancel without really help the rest of the game, then Aa abandoned.

Then the arrival of Fernando Llorente provided Juventus (and Andrea Pirlo) target with an old man once - but one that can do more than just hold the ball. In addition, Carlos Tevez played as an embodiment of a "striker Conte" hustling all over the field and harass defenders Manchester United Jersey when they have possession. However, the main change was the change to a 4-5-1 (4-3-3 in practice but somehow) for matches against Real Madrid. I must say that the change was successful, Juventus Real Madrid played very well and was probably the best team in both games.

Star Performer: Arturo Vidal

This is a "price" very difficult to choose(Napoli Jersey), as many players on Juventus had an excellent year. But I'll go with Arturo Vidal, for the fact that he excelled at both Serie A and the Champions League (his toughest opponent for the honor, Carlos Tevez, has not had the Champions League Vidal had) throughout 2013, while then capping the year with a hat-trick against FC Copenhagen and a new contract. While said contract Vidal increased, it is still behind in terms of Tevez Vidal highest paid - JuventusJuve Players and the case was really good for Juve. Whatever the contract, Vidal deserves this honor to his game alone.

Worst Performer: Mauricio Isla

There are not many good candidates for this position, Juventus have done well too. But the handful of players who may have been less than perfect for Juventus, I'll go with one that has continued to fight back injury.

This man Mauricio Isla. Isla has had some good performances in 2013, but it almost always follows these promising games with a turnip. Isla has not necessarily been the worst, but it was the most frustrating.

Transfer season: Fernando Llorente

It's easy - while Juventus bought only a handful of players this summer, they were important players. So who is he This is Fernando Llorente. Yes, Tevez has more goals, but Llorente scores when he needs, and he outclassed Tevez Champions League. In addition, Tevez was a starter all season for Juve, while Llorente least five starts in total, and some of these departures came at the beginning of the season when Llorente was not yet fully in line with the rest of team Juventus.

He scored two goals against Real Madrid (one in each game) and the winner of the match against Udinese, and I still do not think we have seen at its best. Tevez may have more goals, but Llorente co Ter € 12 million less, and has more goals Champions League as Tevez scored since 2009 (his last goal in the Champions League with Manchester United was.)

Milestone Moment

Unfortunately, the time step is not happy. The highlight for 2013 was the loss in Turkey, who eliminated the club from the Champions League. After a promising return in the 2012-2013 season, Juventus fell completely short of the mark in the fall of 2013.

The first leans against Copenhagen and Galatasaray were unacceptable results, and the club itself has left too far behind to catch up in the last four games. This loss will haunt Juventus until they can be right next season (assuming they qualify, which is a hypothesis s R.) This is less of a milestone and a marker mile, and the marker reads "not yet in the elite of Europe."

What should be in 2014

2014 should be an exciting year for Juventus, if only for the novelty of the Europa League (I'm tryGalatasaray v Juventusing to console me) and the chance for Conte to continue the experience of its tactics it grows as a manager. I do not expect much, if any, transfers in the first month of 2014, but summer is another story.

La Stampa has reported that Juventus and PSG have agreed on terms for Jeremy Menez, and having him arrive in January would allow Conte to experiment with wider formations in preparation for next year’s Champions League. But more on that in the next club focus.

For now, the club needs to win the Scudetto, they need to win the Coppa Italia, and they really need to go far in the Europa League.

Unless at least two of these three (if not all) happen, then this season will be a disappointment for Juventus and her fans.
