 It has not all been plain sailing for David Moyes since he took the reins at Manchester United in the summer.

But with 2014 ticking round on the Old Trafford calendars fans were content in the knowledge that one or two new faces would be on their way to cheer the gloom.

Alas, that doesn't appear to be the case with the Scot now indicating he may NOT be signing anybody in January.
